展現英(ying)語風采，訴(su)說微笑力量。5月18日(ri)下午，山(shan)東職業(ye)學院第(di)一(yi)屆(jie)英(ying)語文化節開幕(mu)式(shi)(shi)暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)題英(ying)語演講比賽(sai)在(zai)圖書(shu)館行政樓東報告(gao)廳舉行，學院副院長(chang)郭鵬出席(xi)開幕(mu)式(shi)(shi)并致辭，基(ji)礎部(bu)(思政部(bu))主(zhu)任賈(jia)明斌、團委書(shu)記王(wang)偉、國際交流中心(xin)主(zhu)任呂子泉蒞臨比賽(sai)現場。
副院(yuan)長郭鵬在致辭中指出(chu)，隨著(zhu)我們(men)國家(jia)高鐵國際化戰略的(de)推進(jin)實施和學(xue)院(yuan)建設優質高職院(yuan)校的(de)改革發展，培養高素質應用(yong)(yong)型人才目(mu)標中學(xue)生英語(yu)(yu)應用(yong)(yong)水平凸顯重要(yao)性(xing)，此次隆重舉辦我院(yuan)第一(yi)屆英語(yu)(yu)文化節目(mu)的(de)就是(shi)為了進(jin)一(yi)步(bu)突出(chu)英語(yu)(yu)學(xue)習的(de)重要(yao)性(xing)，鍛煉同學(xue)們(men)的(de)英語(yu)(yu)口語(yu)(yu)及實際交流應用(yong)(yong)能力(li)，營造學(xue)院(yuan)濃厚的(de)英語(yu)(yu)學(xue)習氛圍，為打造特色學(xue)習型校園進(jin)行的(de)一(yi)次非常有益和有意義的(de)嘗試。
本屆英(ying)語文(wen)化節歷時一(yi)個(ge)月(yue)，由(you)基礎部、團委和國(guo)際(ji)交流中心(xin)共同(tong)舉辦，是響應學(xue)院建設(she)國(guo)內領先、國(guo)際(ji)先進的優(you)質高職院校(xiao)目(mu)標，通過開展(zhan)英(ying)語演(yan)講比(bi)(bi)賽(sai)、英(ying)文(wen)歌曲大賽(sai)、英(ying)語配音秀、英(ying)文(wen)海報比(bi)(bi)賽(sai)和英(ying)語角等系列(lie)主題(ti)活(huo)動(dong)，旨在營造人人學(xue)習英(ying)語、用(yong)好(hao)(hao)英(ying)語的濃厚氛(fen)圍，提(ti)升(sheng)大學(xue)生的學(xue)英(ying)語、說英(ying)語、用(yong)好(hao)(hao)英(ying)語的水平，活(huo)動(dong)內容新穎豐富，貼(tie)近學(xue)習生活(huo)。
經過前期的(de)(de)(de)預(yu)賽(sai)，最終(zhong)有來(lai)自各系(xi)的(de)(de)(de)15位(wei)選手站上了決賽(sai)的(de)(de)(de)舞臺，他們圍(wei)繞“The Power of Smile”為(wei)主題(ti)展示英語演講風采，他們的(de)(de)(de)演講或慷(kang)慨激(ji)(ji)昂、情感(gan)熱烈，或述(shu)說(shuo)細膩、娓娓道來(lai)，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)(de)現場互動問答(da)，贏得了臺下觀眾的(de)(de)(de)陣(zhen)陣(zhen)掌聲。經過激(ji)(ji)烈的(de)(de)(de)比拼，最終(zhong)張嘉(jia)琳、袁嘉(jia)賢、周穎、曲昌、高雪(xue)菲(fei)5位(wei)同學榮獲了此次比賽(sai)的(de)(de)(de)一等(deng)獎(jiang)。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
